Last year a new bus and footbridge was opened between the University of Queensland and Dutton Park on the south-side of the river. This bridge shortens trips from southern suburbs to the Uni considerably. It is not open to ordinary traffic.

It's an attractive overhang over the bridge to offer a bit of shade.

ReplyDeleteI've walked that bridge with my nieces ... very pleasant. Bridge or no bridge I love that going back to Uni feeling when I am out at the campus.
