The Story Bridge is one of the many bridges spanning the Brisbane River. It connects Kangaroo Point with Fortitude Valley. It was completed in 1940 and named after a senior public servant John Story, who advocated for the bridge to be built.
It is illuminated at night as you can see in the header picture. Bridge climbs are a tourist attraction.Going under

Lovely Bridges, I was in Brisbane during the New year weekend, and I photographed some of them.
