THE STORY BRIDGE

The Story Bridge is one of the many bridges spanning the Brisbane River. It connects Kangaroo Point with Fortitude Valley. It was completed in 1940 and named after a senior public servant John Story, who advocated for the bridge to be built.

It is illuminated at night as you can see in the header picture. Bridge climbs are a tourist attraction.

  2. Lovely Bridges, I was in Brisbane during the New year weekend, and I photographed some of them.

The best photo is a mother duck protecting her ducklings at the grounds outside the Science centre. Will post it right now.

    Sam loved the Science centre.
