Ford Ute (Pick up in the US)

This ute pulled up while we were walking through Stanthorpe, unfortunately the driver entered a building before I could ask him for details (year of make etc).

  1. Very stylish, indeed; complete with white wall tyres. Was the driver in period costume?

  2. I think in these days the "ute" never sees too many dirt roads or is driven around the property. It would be for highway display only and would be washed and polished a couple of times a week! Great shot. Would get plenty of oooooooohs and aaaaaaaahs around your area. Why didn't you wait for the owner, offer a price and give Diane a great birthday suprise?????

  3. Come on Colin, you're pulling my leg. I did give Diane a ute a few years ago and I got into trouble with my two daughters so I had to sell it and buy her a sedan. I miss her ute.

  4. It's a beauty and probably worth a pretty penny too. Not a speck of dust on the bodywork and snow white tyres.

  6. Going by the number plate it would probably be a '37. Ann J
