Oh dear, I can't help it as I can't stop laughing. My dear Ann J - I think the expression should be "hello sailor"!!!! and then get the hell out of the place!!!! Hilarious!
We are so innocent. Bill was looking at design and didn't read the sign. "Have a gay day". I didn't have the heart to tell him. Anyway its a good shot of an old hotel. In Greenwich in UK we went into a pub and ordered lunch. There were 5 of us. It didn't take long to figure out that we were in a gay hotel. We had a good lunch and a good laugh at ourselves.
There's nothing quite like a hotel with a wide iron lace verandah ... Brissie is just the right place for them.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice place to sit with a beer.
ReplyDeleteTerrific looking hotel.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs

ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful building, it reminds me of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Thanks for sharing it with us...and I'll be the food was good, anyway.

ReplyDeleteThat is one great old lady with not too many changes, obviously growing old gracefully. Nice shot.
