State Library

This is a shot of the Queensland State Library taken from the Gallery of Modern Art. The building at the back is the Performing Arts Complex and in the background the big wheel side on.

  1. I like a city that plans well: a library close to an art museum. Good thinking!

  5. Julie,
It was 36ºC in Brisbane when we visited GoMA. The Brisbane people were either at the beach or staying in air conditioning, only mad dogs and Englishmen etc etc.

  6. Hey, what happened to the GoMA for LUNCH post that appeared in my feeds? I was going to comment on the art, food and wine.

I'll comment on this one instead. The building is a work of modern art itself. I like it.
