Go and meet the banker

This door is in the building formerly known as the Bank of New South Wales in Queenstreet. This bank has not been in operation for many years. Above the door is written B of NSW CHAMBERS,

    the good old Wales, I don't like the name Westpac - too corporate. Nice shot - looks a solid door.

    Westpac IS corporate, Peter!! *grin* ... very corporate. Surely you have Westpac in QLD though, Bill. If I am right you are back home now (?)

    Don't like Westpac either. I was wondering where you were as well. Is there any bank apart from the Commonwealth that still bears its old name. My building society which swore blind it would never become a bank, became a bank and now has been subsumed by one of the big boys.

    Yes Julie, we're home admiring the new kitchen that went in while we were in Sydney, and moving all the stuff back in.
