Interesting Water Feature
Yesterday was an overcast day down here in Sydney with light rain, so perfect for a lazy day indoors, blogging and reading books. While looking out from our balcony at Vaucluse, we saw this waterspout over the ocean. It looked spectacular, so Diane grabbed her camera and captured this phenomenon. It even made the evening TV news at 6pm.

Oh my goodness. Scary but what a wonderful capture. They have these off the coast of SoCal now and then. I've never seen one myself. Have only seen huge "dirt devils" out in the desert.
ReplyDeleteWow. Never seen anything like that before. Well done Diane.
ReplyDeleteAwesome capture! Great nature scenery :)

ReplyDeleteEso parece ser una gran remolino¡¡¡ :)
ReplyDeleteTerrific capture. I have not seen one close up like that. What happened to it - did it just so of 'grow down'?
ReplyDeleteWe used to watch them from our vacation home. Even managed to outrun a few in my boat. Very dangerous to mess with, however.
ReplyDeleteThat's a brilliant capture Bill. That's better than the photo I saw in the paper today. Diane did well.
