I visited my father yesterday, and our longest conversation was about a photo of his father taken in the '30s sometime, riding a horse and cart across a swollen river. This is very similar.
ReplyDeleteHey Bill, come visit my blog. I've been posting on my blog my recent adventures on a roadtrip to three Canadian cities: Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City. Maybe you can glean some ideas for your upcoming trip to Canada. We had a great great time. Saw Circus Soleil for free under a road overpass.
ReplyDeletecountry look is lovely, I like it too...very quiet and nice to unwind.
ReplyDeleteVery bucolic indeed! Slower than an "express train" even.

ReplyDeleteGreat slice of rural life.

I love it just being back from a very rural area in Belgium. The barrow could have stood there.
