Typical Australian Street Sign - Still Bright Colours

I took this picture last Sunday driving home from Cleveland and I thought it would make an interesting post for Bright Colour theme day.
The road goes through Koala and Wallaby habitat even though it is in Capalaba, a Brisbane suburb.
This is not an unusual sign, there are many such signs in the suburbs, especially on the south side of Brisbane, Redland Bay and Logan City.

  2. Apparently there are some kangaroos living in Sweden these days. At least if you should believe this sign that I photographed a while back.

  3. Well, you won't see such signs in Denmark. The swedes are more advanced! In Austria this summer I saw signs with cows, and indeed 20 cows was walking at a road inbetween machines making the road.

  5. Love these signs ... I saw them last weekend around Wauchope but that was to be expected. I dont see them in Sydney even though people seem to expect kangaroos to be hopping down Pitt Street.

  6. They're great. You have to travel quite far out of Sydney to see those sorts of signs now.
