Driving home from Cleveland this afternoon, we came across a series of Wattle trees on the side of the road. As it is still is "Bright Colours" theme day, I thought the beautiful yellow of the Wattle tree would qualify.

I like your two theme day shots very much, especially the red hat.
ReplyDeleteThat is a different species of wattle to the ones we see. I love seeing them along the roadside.
ReplyDeleteI have just been up to the NSW mid-north coast. The wattles up there are running riot already. I love the look, I love the smell ... they just are not so good for my lungs.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot, Bill, especially with the large trees in the background echoing the main theme.
ReplyDeleteThat is bright happy tree. Beautiful. They look like a bouquet.
ReplyDeleteBill, until I make some more quesadillas and take some photos, go to:

and put quesadilla in the search box.
Wow, you can pretty much make them any ol' way you want.
My daughter likes them plain... just a tortilla with melted cheese.
It's good the way the Wattle turns up every year. As regular as clockwork!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing colour! Well photographed, Bill.
ReplyDeleteGreat Idea Bill - that is a real dinki-di shot
