Today, we sail into Skagwway. We'll have plenty of free time, so we'll go on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway, one of the most famous rail journeys in the world. That one has been on my 'Bucket List' for a few years.
The historic White Pass and Yukon Railway is spectacular
You are bringing back many memories, my friends. I really enjoyed the railway..such beautiful scenery along the way. Too much snow at the top to go all the way-was in avalanche area! Enjoy!

Oh BB you will be in "train paradise!"
ReplyDeleteTake the pine trees out of this photo and you could be on the train going up the Mossman Gorge in FNQ!
I wonder if the same construction engineer built the two railroads?
Have fun - don't lean too far out the window when taking photos!

Why am I reminded of the Titanic?

ReplyDeleteHi Bill and Diane;) I've been looking out for your post on my dashboard and popped over to see where you are now. Wow, the ship is huge. Enjoy and blessings to you both. Jo
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful, chance of a lifetime vacation!
