Today we're in Howe Sound

We're on a trip through Canada and Alaska...


Today, we travel to Nanaimo and cross to the mainland by ferry, then we drive along Howe Sound stopping by the Shannon Falls. 
Tonight, we step into the world of the Black Bear. Can't wait(?!?!)

    Take plenty of close up "bear" photos for me!!
    A close and cuddlily of a "big Grizzley" would be perfect and NO shooting it with that 303 that you smuggled aboard AC34!!!

    Keep that pepper spray handy!! Blacks are not quite as aggressive as the Grizzly, but still be careful.

    Stay away from the bears Dad!!!

    If you see a black bear: stand and fight. But if you see a brown bear: play dead. Or is it the other way around? Give me Aussie creepy crawlies any day!
