Thomas Joseph Byrnes - Queensland Premier 1898

It was raining in Brisbane yesterday. We went into town to buy some warm clothes to take to Canada and Alaska next week. We passed this statue of Thomas Joseph Byrnes who died six months into his term as the Premier of Queensland.

  5. If you are going in a luxury liner, you should be quite warm. Don't think you need long johns.

  7. Have a great trip! I hope you'll be posting photos of what you see here. It'll be interesting to see Canada through Aussie eyes. :)
